When tasked with branding an independent jewelry store called Eris Silver, my goal was to infuse the brand with a youthful appeal while maintaining its vintage and diverse character. Despite primarily selling antique and retro jewelry pieces, the client acknowledged the growing interest among young individuals in their products.

To achieve a younger look for the brand, I devised a branding strategy that combined elements of vintage charm with contemporary aesthetics. By leveraging modern design techniques, I created a visually engaging and dynamic brand identity that would resonate with a younger demographic.

Taking inspiration from the Greek mythology surrounding Eris, the goddess of strife and discord, I embarked on designing a logo that captures the essence of the brand while incorporating symbolic elements. The Apple of Discord, known for sparking the Trojan War, became a significant symbol in my design process. To visually represent the brand, I merged the apple and feather (inspired by Eris herself) motifs into a cohesive logo. The apple, a prominent symbol in Greek mythology, signifies beauty and rivalry. Its inclusion in the logo represents the catalyst for discord and competition, mirroring the story of the three goddesses.

The overall logo design embodies a balance between energy and femininity, capturing the brand's distinctive character and attracting the attention of the target audience. It serves as a visual representation of Eris Silver, showcasing the brand's connection to mythology, vintage charm, and youthful appeal.
